Quick and Easy

Painted Poppies Quick Aperture Card

This stamp set makes it so easy to create gorgeous cards in no time and this one is a real quick and easy one.

I love the focal effect that the coloured layer creates when closed, along with the quick ‘splatter’ used to paint the flowers. I did get the comment that it was a bit like blood splatters – but I guess with the significance of the poppy for Remembrance Day – that is probably not a bad thing.

The simple use of punches to create an aperture (don’t forget to use the smaller punch first) and then use a second larger punch to create a bigger aperture for the coloured layer and you are sorted!

If you haven’t looked at this stamp set yet – I would recommend you do…we never know what will or will not carry over and I would hate for you to miss out on it. It could be used for so many occasions and when you combine it with the Peaceful Poppies Sentiment stamp set – you have endless possibilities and pretty much all occasions too!

Whilst I haven’t used the dies for this card if you take a look at the Z fold card HERE you can see just some of the beautiful dies and Designer Series Paper (DSP) that is also available. The paper is so lovely that you could just add a layer of DSP and some stamping and you would have a lovely card.

I’ve added links to the different bundle and solo stamp set options below – if budget permits I would highly recommend the whole suite bundle – but there are lots of options – of course you might like to join my team and include some of it in the starter kit where you get to choose £130 of product for £99 with free postage….and then get the extra guillotine, DSP Sampler Pack and free choice stamp set too! So you could have the suite bundle and an extra stamp set too! Give me a call or drop me an email if you would like to know more

Hope this is enough to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of time to make a lovely card
