Quick and Easy

Snowman Wobble card

Come on admit it….who doesn’t like a wobble card? I can’t help smiling at a card that moves like this….it’s like googly eyes on a card too…I can’t resist giving it a shake? Just me being a big kid? Probably 🙂

But this stamp set was calling out for a wobble…my snowmen are always a bit wonky – and we rarely seem to get enough snow for one anyway – but the one’s in this stamp set are really fun and when you have a co-ordinating punch that cuts the body, arms, nose and hat too…it makes creating cards with a little added extra really easy too.

I am loving the paper in the ‘Snowflake Splendor’ suite…. such pretty colour combinations and a real range of designs in the paper pack from soft and subtle backgrounds to big bold blue snowflakes. This card only takes a few offcuts and the new Banners Pick a punch to make a quick and easy base for the snowman to sit on. If like me you struggle to get even banner ends – this punch is a godsend….and with three different widths for both styles of end it’s a definite keeper in your crafty stash.

Of course if you are worried about layers – it would be easy to add the stamped piece direct to your card base …the wobble spring folds pretty flat – so for those in the UK it might still squeeze through as a standard letter

Well, I am off to spend some crafty time in my room – hope you are enjoying the early Christmas inspiration ….I am determined to get ahead this year!
