When is a Wisteria not Wisteria…when it is lavender

Pretty tie close box with Stampin Up Wisteria Wishes

When I saw this stamp set for the first time, I was delighted to see the ‘stems’ in the stamp set so that you can use the hanging wisteria flowers to create alternative flowers that have ‘spikes’ of flowers such as lavender.

The flowers are so pretty when stamped in the gorgeous new Orchid Oasis with Starry Sky to add the detail …. wonderful shades of colour that certainly remind me of some of the deeper lavenders that you can buy.

I will be digging into my gardening knowledge of flowers for future projects – but I certainly see these as possibly lupins? Which flowers do they remind you of?

Whilst there isn’t enough space for a plant in these boxes – they are certainly pretty roomy – so you could present all kinds of gifts inside….maybe even a selection of seed ‘bombs’? I popped some in my borders this weekend (yes I know I am a little late) to hopefully provide some bee friendly flowers late summer…that is of course if my puppy and chicken don’t get to them first! My chicken decided that my petunias looked pretty tasty this weekend…suffice to say they won’t be flowering any time soon!

Anyway…back to the design board for me ….I hope you get time to create soon
