I promised my fellow demonstrators that I would try and join in again with them this year – last year started so well but my domestic issues that happened middle of the year somewhat derailed my crafting activities – well actually derailed my life – but that is a story I will share another day when I can! So on a positive note I have a pretty project to share with you today using some new product that has been sitting on my desk since the end of last year!
Although my excuse for that is that I think of it as a more spring and summer themed bundle! It is the fun Share a Milkshake bundle – stamps and dies to create fun traditional looking milkshakes and bowls of ice cream complete with cherry on top and a spoon to eat it with and although the DSP (paper) is not new as it is from the Annual Catalogue – it is new to me – I didn’t even buy it – it was part of one of the make and takes at a team event in November (I unearthed it when tidying my craft room). So I think it still counts as new to me 🙂
It will be no surprise that this is a fun fold – but it is a nice easy one – I have made it a little different by using the scalloped edge die from the Scalloped Contours die set (such a pretty and versatile set of dies)
I have used a little silver foil for the bowl and in my video have shared a couple of ways to get the milkshake glass to look more ‘glassy’.
Anyway, I hope you like this card – and that you are inspired to make one yourself – and if my card doesn’t float your boat – there is lots of inspiration from the other participants…just follow the links on the Blog Carousel below!
