Normally when we get together we swap which is fabulous fun, so for this event we had the opportunity to take still part in a swap. I chose to be in the any bundle group so used the lovely Forever Fern and made the more detailed card. However I also wanted to share with you that you don’t always have to use the dies to create a gorgeous card, so my video shows my three versions…one for those perhaps beginning stamping using just the stamps ink and paper, one for those of you who have moved on to use layers and the final ‘avid’ crafter…yep you know who you are…you craft regularly and use dies and everything!

So having made my swaps they all got sent to a central collater and then when we got our retreat box we received our swaps, so I have had to keep this one under wraps until now 🙂

I am loving Soft Sea Foam on the card…such a pretty green and one which I have only recently acquired (those of you who follow me will probably have noticed that I don’t use much green) This one reminds me of spring 🙂

Of course I also had to use the fabulous new Lovely Labels Pick a punch….if you only get one new punch this is a great one to choose….2 styles in 3 widths and infinite lengths of banner!

So hopefully over the next week or so I will share what we created …I know we will have some lovely projects…. but at the time of writing all I know is what stamp sets and embellishments we are using! I don’t even know the DSP

So while you are reading this I will be Zooming with friends…miss being able to hug them all! One of the fab things about the weekend is the laughter and squishing that goes on…hopefully next year we will be back together
