How lovely is this new stamp set? If you already have the Umbrella Punch this is a great way to extend your usage of the punch…and if you don’t I would certainly get it! The photo doesn’t do justice to the detail of the embossing, this is another of the 3D embossing folders that have a fabulous range of textures so that they really do look 3D.
I used the blue embossing plate which made getting the right ‘sandwich’ for my Big Shot so easy….just my standard base plate, the embossing folder with card and the blue plate 🙂 The other advantage of the blue plate is that it is very clearly NOT to be used for cutting…no chance of wrecking it with dies.
The fringing effects in this stamp set are really pretty – along with the choice of handle too… and I guess you could fussy cut it if you wanted…but I don’t think it needs it!
I am loving my new In Color blends…the Magenta Madness is a bit neon when you first use it…but it does calm down once it dries – and makes a lovely pop of colour against the black outline too.
So quick and easy. if you don’t have an Embossing machine, then a strip of DSP or some repeat stamping in a subtle colour would create a lovely effect too
