So I have been absent for a while…. a lot of stuff in my personal life that meant I was not in a place to have enough time to do anything creatively to share – however life is finding a new normal and that has meant more time to get some new projects designed and filmed to share. My main area for sharing will continue to be my youtube channel where I also include measurements in the description – but I may be able to share a little more regularly on my blog too.
So here is the first project I shared recently a pretty card using the cane weave folder and the online exclusive Irresistible Blooms – I have also shared some samples in the video showing different options/ways to colour the flowers
Then I created these fun little tip or money gifting cash stash envelopes. I created a bunch of these and took them on my recent trip to Morocco to make my tipping a little more fun! These used a great new bundle (Circle Sayings) which has a lovely selection of images and sentiments that fit into a new big 2-3/8″ Circle punch which are great for adding a quick label to gifts or to the front of cards.
And this one is this week’s fun fold – a new design I have called a Panorama card…because when it was open it reminded me of a panorama photograph of a landscape 🙂 I am using one of the suites that was launched with the new Annual Catalogue …Cheerful Daisies!
This suite has these fabulous die cuts than can be layered to create almost 3D flowers and the papers include the many shades of blue old and new that we now have. I for one was delighted to see the return of Misty Moonlight – but we now have a pretty pale blue in the In Colours too – Boho Blue and I have used another new In Colour Wild Wheat. Not a colour I was initially drawn too – but it works so well for foliage – somewhere between a brown and a green! The original sample used Copper Clay too…a fabulous colour – especially if you add a bit of Wink of Stella! It is a really easy fun fold – if you can score a straight line you can make this!
